A number of different languages in outside of the Indo-European family were analyzed based on how... more A number of different languages in outside of the Indo-European family were analyzed based on how difficult it would be for a native English speaker to learn them. They were then rated on a purely impressionistic 1-6 scale of easiest to most difficult. Extensive phonological, morphological, syntactic and even semantic analysis was done for many of these tongues to highlight areas of difficulty for English learners. Very long: 101 pages.

Building on Otto Weininger's notions about the masculine and feminine characters in humans and hi... more Building on Otto Weininger's notions about the masculine and feminine characters in humans and his listing of some the masculine and feminine characters for several variables, an attempt was made to build on Weininger's results based on five variables. An additional 51 variables were added and a masculine and feminine character, principle or essence was determined for each variable. Generally the masculine and feminine characters on any given variable were opposite. The purpose of this paper is to stimulate debate on the masculine and feminine characters, essences or spirits present in human beings and possibly in our world as a whole.

Chinese languages were reanalyzed to determine the number of languages in the family. The 90% int... more Chinese languages were reanalyzed to determine the number of languages in the family. The 90% intelligibility metric was used, and anything under 90% was considered to be evidence of a structurally separate language. Results: The Chinese languages were expanded from Ethnologue's 14 to 708 languages, and there may be many more. The standard linguistic classification scheme grossly underestimates the number of Chinese languages.
